Restylane

Restylane is a new FDA approved product that is used to treat the nasal labial folds and wrinkles. It is also excellent for enhancing the lips and giving them a fuller more youthful look. It is composed by hyaluric acid, which exists naturally in our cells. Restylane is expected to last longer than previously used filler.

Procedure:
Under local anesthesia in the office the material is injected through a small needle to the area that needs to be improved.

Recovery:
There is minimal postoperative pain that is easily controlled with medication. The swelling often resolves within 24 to 48 hours. Further information on the procedure and the Restylane will be provided at the time of your initial consultation with Dr. Shenaq.
