What breast enhancement surgery is best for me and will there be a scar?

There are a variety of cosmetic procedures for women with different types of breasts. During the consultation a personalized surgical breast enhancement procedure will be outlined and discussed with the patient. Dr. Shenaq uses saline breast implants. Working carefully and with great skills small incisions are made to make scars as inconspicuous as possible.

I am interested in a tummy tuck, where would I begin?

A consultation with Dr. Shenaq is the first step to learn how abdominal contour surgery or a tummy tuck can improve your body image and abdominal contour. A consultation is designed to fully educate you about tummy tuck in a non-pressured environment, and will include:

  • A discussion of your goals and an evaluation of your individual case
  • The options available in tummy tuck and any risks or potential complications
  • The likely outcomes of tummy tuck and any risks or potential complications
  • The course of treatment recommended by Dr. Shenaq

Surgical facilities and anesthesia

Surgery can be performed in a number of locations. Generally, Dr. Shenaq performs cosmetic procedures in an out-patient surgery center or a hospital. Our facilities meet strict health care guidelines and are equipped with the latest in surgical technology. For some cosmetic surgical procedures, you will be given general anesthesia so that you sleep through the entire operation. During surgery you will be carefully monitored by a certified anesthetist. In some cases local anesthetic will be administered to numb the area to be treated along with a sedative to relax you. Postoperative discomfort is normally controlled with medication.

How much will the surgery cost?

Cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance and payment is usually required in advance. Costs include the surgeon’s fee and fees for the hospital and anesthesia. Do not be tempted to “bargain shop”. The training and experience of your surgeon are the most important factors in the success of your surgery. Do not compromise.
